Hi all: Here are some more Q&A's from Michael Minor! Enjoy!
Hello Linda:
I am sorry that this has taken so long to get to you.
I hope the following is all right. Well, here goes...
1. When you were on PJ did you realize that you were a Heartthrob to many young girls?
I had hints of that, and it scared me to death.
2. If the show had gone one more season, what would you like to have seen happen?
I would have enjoyed it if Steve and Betty Jo had gone on to have a son. Which, by the way, I thank you for the reminder of the second pregnancy. You are all absolutely correct. The only reason the story line was cut was that the show was shortly after that canceled.
3. Have any of your former stars of PJ come to see you in PC?
I am afraid not. So many of them are scattered around the states, it makes it hard to visit each other as much as we would like to.
4. Since you are Don Fedderson's Son, were you ever considered for roles in any of his shows? How about Mike Douglas???
Yes, I was on several of them. As a matter of fact I met Meredith MacRae while on My Three Sons. She brought me over to PJ. I was also on several Mike Douglas shows, and on Johnny Carson's show 8 times.
5. Did you ever think that you would have this many fans so many years after the show aired on TV???
Quite frankly, NO!!!!! And I must say that I am flattered beyond belief.
6. How is Frank Cady? Has he seen your show???
Frank is doing well. I haven't heard from him is several months, but the last time I heard from him he was happy and
well. No, he has not come into the city to see my show.
7. Do you think that there is any chance that The Perfect Crime might move to any other cities in the US???
There is a real possibility of a tour of The Perfect Crime soon. However, I will not be in it. I enjoy it right where I am now.
8. When is your birthday?
December 7, 19~~~~~~~~
9. In the episode when Betty Jo was pregnant and you "cooked" her breakfast...was that more Mike Minor cooking or just
Steve Elliott??? It was a hilarious episode!!! Were the props real??? ie: was it a real coffee pot boiling over???
That show was carefully worked out. I can cook certain things, and I have become much better with the coffee pot, but that show was choreographed completely. Yes, the props were real. I had fun with it too.
10. Did you have a favorite episode??? Which one was it???
I have many favorite shows, but I guess the one that comes back to my heart a lot is the show when Steve and BettyJo were married. It was a very emotional one for many reasons.
11. Did you choose the songs you sang or were they chosen for you?
For the most part the songs were chosen for me to coincide with the script, but every so often, I could get a request in there.
12. Did everyone really play the piano???
I can act as though I can play the piano very well. And I did it a lot. Most of us could hunt and peck, but that is about it.
You mentioned the desire to reach Frank Cady- Well, as you also said, he is a very private man, so I would feel uncomfortable in saying that I will reach him for you. But the next time I write to him I will convey your birthday wishes. I am sure they will mean a lot to him.
I did check out the message board. It is wonderful. It made me feel very good. The memories are good from my time
with PJ. Thank you for bringing them back to me
